John E. “Jack” Williams

John E. “Jack” Williams, 82, of Woodland, PA died on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home.

Born on July 18, 1942 in Osceola Mills, PA, John was the son of the late John Williams & Isabel (Test) Williams. He married Ruth M. (Hajzak) Williams on August 29, 1964 in Osceola Mills, PA; who survives at home.

John was a member of the Scotch Hollow C & MA Church. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and he was a member of the VFW Post #17 in Clearfield, PA.

John was a retired electrician with Penelec.

He was a 1960 graduate from Philipsburg-Osceola High School and he attended Lock Haven University.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Williams; and a sister Isabel Altemus.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, John is survived by a son, Todd Alan Williams & his companion Tammy Kitchen of Woodland, PA; a sister, Carol Cartwright of Philipsburg, PA; a brother, Ronald Williams & his wife Maryanne Williams of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Vyktorya Leigh Williams, Sarah Rae Williams, and Jack Alan Williams; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Reverend James Evilsizor will officiate. Burial will be at Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.

Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
