My sincere condolences go out to Jim’s family. Jim was a great guy who enjoyed a good laugh and was a friend to many. We were teammates on the high school football team where he proved to be an exceptional lineman and athlete that helped lead our team to success. I also had the opportunity to work for Jim and his family when they briefly managed and operated the Black Moshannon Ski Area. I remember them as a kind, friendly and proud family. May God bless the entire Wigfield family.

It’s amazing how much of an impact Jim had on our lives, even though we only talked on the phone for years. He was so much more than a parts rep — he was a true friend. We shared so many laughs, swapped stories about our dogs, and always found a way to brighten each other’s day. He was the best at what he did, but even more than that, he was kind, funny, and had a heart of gold. I’ll miss him so much, and I’ll always remember the joy he brought into our lives. Rest easy, Jim. Thank you for everything.

Our deepest condolences to the Wigfield Family. Jim was just another reason why it was special to grow up in Osceola. Always enjoyed going into his sporting goods & having a good conversation. May all the great memories you have with Jim get you through your sorrow.

My deepest condolences to Jim’s immediate and extended family. Rest In Peace dear friend Wig. I will keep those great memories of our school years together from Cowtail, OM Jr. High, and High School with adventures on the Little League baseball, and the wrestling and football teams. I am sorry to have missed the 50-year reunion and the opportunity to laugh together once more. I saw the photo of you and Tim together and you looked happy. That made me smile and think of all those great memories.

So sorry to hear that Jim passed away recently. My sincerest condolences to the entire Wigfield family. Jim and I lost touch with each other after high school but I remember him being ‘pound for pound’ the toughest player on our high school football team and the best leadoff hitter on our baseball team. I loved being his teammate throughout our high school years in sports. RIP Jim!!!
