Pauline Wasilko
Pauline Wasilko, 86, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L. in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on February 16, 1928 in (Low Coal) RD Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Susan (Coleman) Patrick. She married John Wasilko on October 8, 1955 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey, PA; he survives at home.
Mrs. Wasilko was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey, PA. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, David Wasilko; two sisters, Annie Socoski & Helen Berzonsky; and five brothers, Michael, Joseph, John, Paul and George Patrick.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Wasilko is survived by: a daughter, Kathryn Wasilko of Harrisburg, PA; two sons, Michael Wasilko & his wife Laurie of Philipsburg, PA and Daniel Wasilko & his wife Bobbie Jo of Tracy, CA; and two sisters Susanna Johnson of Gettysburg, PA and Louise Patrick of Coraopolis, PA. She is also survived by: five grandchildren, Scott Wasilko & his wife Sarah of Burlington, VT, Jonathan Wasilko of Ithaca, NY, Nathan Wasilko of Oakdale, CT, Erica Burkhart of Washington, PA and Caitlin Burkhart-Wasilko of San Diego, CA; one great-grandchild, Amelia Wasilko of Burlington, VT; and a daughter-in-law, Roxanne Wasilko of Oakdale, CT.
A Great Parastas will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey, PA; with Very Rev. Anthony Balistreri, Celebrant. Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Ramey, PA.
Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
Parastas will be on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA.
