William E. Thompson

William E. Thompson, 73, of Munson, PA, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home.

Born on May 21, 1950, in Osceola Mills, PA, he was the son of the late Lee W. & Rhea J. (Grove) Thompson.  He married Cindy A. Bailey on June 29, 1974, in Clearfield, PA; she survives at home.

William was retired from Shawville Electric Plant.  And he was a 1970 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Louise Thompson; three brothers, Robert Charles Thompson, Walter Lee Thompson and Kenneth R. Thompson.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by two sons, William E. Thompson, II & his wife Danielle of Winburne, PA and Jeffery E. Thompson & his wife Tori of (Sanborn) Houtzdale, PA; two sisters, Alice Quick of Morrisdale, PA and Patricia Jury of Osceola Mills, PA; two brothers, David L. Thompson & his wife Debra of Osceola Mills, PA and Todd A. Thompson & his wife Brittany of Grampian, PA; five grandchildren, Ryan, Breanna, Layla, Alayna and Kayli; and two great-grandchildren, Ryeker and Finnan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA.  Rev. Timothy Richmond will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
