Debra A. Thompson

Debra A. Thompson, 73, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at her home.

Born on September 12, 1952, in Philipsburg, PA, Debra was the daughter of the late Alvin Williams & Althea (Couch) Williams. She married David L. Thompson on March 18, 1972 in West Decatur, PA. He survives at home.

Debra was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church.

She was a retired Financial Administrative Assistant at Penn State University.

Debra was a 1970 graduate from the P.O. High School. She also graduated from South Hills Business School.

In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Williams and Ruth Merrell; two brothers, John Williams and Gary Williams; and a grandson, Kyle Coval.

In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by two daughters, Amy J. Thompson & her husband Patrick of Morrisdale, PA, and Tammy L. Coval & her husband Jeffrey of Hawk Run, PA; a son, David L. Thompson, Jr. of Osceola Mills & his fiance Erin Evans of Wallaceton, PA; two sisters, Mary Ellen Vallery & her husband Steven of West Decatur, PA, and Victoria Houdeshell of Clearfield, PA; two brothers, Alvin Williams, Jr. & his wife Mary Clare of Steubenville, OH, and Christopher Williams & his wife Brenda of West Decatur, PA; three grandchildren, Brittany Yarger/Shane Yarger, Nicholas Thompson, and Kara Coval; and a great-grandson, Phoenix Yarger.

There will be a funeral service on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA 16666. Pastor Jennifer Heikes will officiate.

Interment will be at the Columbarium of the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 16 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
