Barbara A. Soltys
Barbara A. Soltys, 74 of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Ridgeview Elder Care in Curwensville, PA.
Born on March 4, 1941 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin L. Winters Sr. and Ellen Louise (Miller) Winters. She married Roy F. Soltys on March 20, 1964 in Lock Haven, PA; he survives at home.
Mrs. Soltys was a member of the Bald Eagle C & M A Church. She was an LPN and worked for Skills in State College and retired after years of service. She received her GED.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Soltys is survived by: two sons, Brian P. Soltys & his wife Stacey of Clearfield, PA and Alan D. Soltys & his wife Rachel of Meadville, PA; two sisters, Deborah Uncles of Clearfield, PA and Mona Uncles of Florida; two brothers, Melvin L. Winters, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Osceola Mills, PA and Gary Uncles of Clearfield, PA; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. D. Z. Lewis, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
