Gilbert G. “Buck” Patterson

Gilbert G. “Buck” Patterson, 84, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the home of his son Jason & Jennifer Patterson in Osceola Mills, PA.

Born on December 12, 1941, in Philipsburg, PA, Gilbert was the son of the late Gilbert Patterson & Dorothy J. (Test) Patterson. He married Emma Jane (Davis) Patterson on February 1, 1964 at the Brisbin Baptist Church. Emma preceded Gilbert in death on June 9, 2016.

Gilbert was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of the Osceola Mills Lodge #515 F & A M and the LOOMoose #154 in Osceola Mills, PA.

He was the Owner and Operator of the Scotchmen in Osceola mills, PA.

Gilbert was a 1959 graduate from the P.O. High School.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gilbert was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Mease and Linda Sahm.

Gilbert is survived by two daughters, Connie Hamilton & her husband Jim of Savannah, GA and Elaine “Chrissy” Haley of Duncannon, PA; a son, Jason Patterson & his wife Jennifer of Osceola Mills, PA; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A Masonic Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA.

Interment will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 22, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
