Michele Kay (Yarger) Passmore, 58, of Houtzdale, PA, died on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at UPMC Altoona

Born on January 26, 1968, in Clearfield, PA, Michele was the daughter of Paul L. Yarger of Sanborn & the late Rose Ann (English) Yarger.

Michele worked at Jefferson Health Hospital in East Strasberg, PA.

She was a 1986 graduate from the Mo Valley High School. She also graduated from South Hills Business School.

Michele was a wonderful mother and daughter, raised her two daughters by herself and she always put her family first.

Michele was preceded in death by her mother.

In addition to her father, Michele is survived by two daughters, Alicia A. Passmore of Irvona, PA, and Alexis N. Passmore of Houtzdale, PA; four sisters, Penny Martell & her husband Jeffrey of Woodland, PA, Paula Morgan & her husband Todd of Sanborn, Evelyn Mayhew & her husband Ross of Clearfield, PA, and Laurie Joyce & her husband John of Harrisburg, PA; a brother, Edmund P. Yarger & his wife Kate of Bellefonte, PA; and two grandchildren, Spencer Williams and Oliver Frye both of Irvona, PA.

At Michele’s request. there will be no visitation or funeral service.

He Interment will be at the Baughman Cemetery in Sanborn.
