Walter L. Nyman

Walter L. Nyman, 86, of Houtzdale, PA, formerly of Lock Haven, PA, died on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the home of his daughter & son-in-law Terry L. Nyman-Blake & Kevin W. Blake in Houtzdale, PA.

Born on October 2,1939, in Bellefonte PA, Walter was the son of the late Ralph Nyman & Carrie (Lucas) Nyman. He married Shirley C. (Emel) Nyman who preceded him in death on May 10, 2015.

Walter was of the Christian Faith.

He retired from the former Nyman Window Cleaning Service.

In addition to his parents and wife, Walter is preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Bowes and Frances Nyman; and three brothers, Donald Nyman, Earnest Nyman, and Robert Nyman.

He is survived by a daughter, Terry L. Nyman-Blake & her husband Kevin W. Blake of Houtzdale, PA; and four sons, Ralph L. Emel of Beccaria, PA, Walter J. Nyman & his companion Crystal of Pleasant Gap, PA, Arthur D. Nyman of Houtzdale, PA, and Randell S. Nyman of Bellefonte, PA; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

At Walter’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
