Margaret C. Novak
Margaret Novak, 84, of Milesburg, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on October 9. 1930 in Port Matilda, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Catherine (Dixon) Walk. She married Stephen F. “Cubie” Novak on July 5, 1969 in Tyrone, PA; he preceded her in death on November 9, 1998.
Mrs. Novak was of the United Methodist Faith. She retired from Charles Navasky & Co. of Philipsburg, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Cecelia Walk and Pearlene Richards; and three brothers, Calvin, Alfred and Willis Walk.
Mrs. Novak is survived by: two daughters, Gayle Nichols & her husband Albert of Bellefonte, PA and Teresa Ripka & her husband Donald of Milesburg, PA; a son, Fred McClellan & his wife Cherry of Lakeland, FL; three sisters, Marie Green of Baltimore, MD, Bernadine Williams of Osceola Mills, PA and Carol Knepp of Osceola Mills, PA; three brothers, Frank Walk of Clearfield, PA, Ardell Walk & his wife Shirley of West Decatur, PA and Raymond Walk & his wife Joan of Baltimore, MD; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great- grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service and no visitation.
