Shirley L. Murphy

Vivian and Mark Reeher

It is challenging to remember a time that Shirley was not wearing a smile. Growing up I always enjoyed being around her, her mischievous grin and the best stories! So very sorry for your loss. She lives on in all of you , a beautiful family legacy.
Our love to all of you,
Vivian

We offer our deepest condolences to your family during this profoundly challenging time. Shirley had a remarkable effect on those she met, and her memory will forever be treasured.

To the family, I send my heartfelt condolences.
Shirley graduated before me, but as small towns go, I knew her parents from delivering “The Progress” and then working at Pedrazzani’s, until I became a nurse and left for new horizons.
What I do remember is her friendliness and her laugh. I hope you find comfort in sharing her stories and the laughs.
May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal.

My mom, my confidante, my safe place.

You were so much more than a mother. You were my anchor, my favorite person to laugh with, and the one who always knew what to say—whether it was heartfelt or hilariously sarcastic. You had a way of seeing the world that was honest, sharp, and full of grace.

You called me Pussycat, just like on The Golden Girls, and somehow that nickname came to mean everything. It was comfort. It was love. It was us.

I will miss your voice, your strength, your wit, and, well, just you, but what I’ll carry with me most is the way you made me feel—completely and unconditionally loved.

Thank you for being my mom. I’ll carry you with me always.

I love you Sophia.

Rest in Peace my dear cousin. Some of the best times of my life were with you and your family. I will always cherish those unforgettable memories. Through good times and bad you were always a source of strength and comfort to me as you were to all who knew you I still find myself reaching to want to call or text you but now you have a permanent place in my heart and I can chat with you anytime I want to. And I will. Tears fill my eyes as I write this, but I must not dwell on the pain, but instead be happy that you have moved on to your new and better life with all those who love you and have gone before you. This is farewell and not goodbye…. Uniil we meet again.
