Evelyn B. Maines
Evelyn B. Maines, 87 of Clearfield, PA and formerly of Houtzdale, PA passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, PA.
She was born on April 15, 1925 in Williamsport, PA to the late Harry & Leona Duttry. She was married to Emery C. Maines who preceded her in death on April 5, 1998.
Mrs. Maines attended the Ramey Baptist Church. She had worked as bundler at the former Wilkinson’s Sawmill.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Brown and numerous brothers & sisters.
Mrs. Maines is survived by three daughters, Nancy English and her husband Ronald of Houtzdale, PA, Barbara J. Merritt of Philipsburg, PA and Marilyn Spencer of Philipsburg, PA; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Chapel of the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA is in charge of arrangements.
