Catherine J. Knee

Catherine J. Knee, 92, of Hyde, PA died on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Cedarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Tyrone, PA.

Born November 1, 1931 in Mount Union, PA, Catherine was the daughter of the late James Fred Rishel & Mabel Josephine (Galbreth) Rishel. She married Orvis Knee who preceded her in death in 1977.

She graduated from the Mount Union High  School in 1950.

Catherine retired as a kitchen aid from Mountain Laurel & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, PA

Catherine was a member of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church.PA. She was a member of the American Legion Post 6 in Clearfield, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by a son, Terry D. Knee; a brother Darrell Rishel & his wife Lucy.

Catherine is survived by a daughter, Janet Bender & her husband Leslie of Clearfield, PA; a sister, Caroline Rowles of Brookville, PA; three grandchildren Donna Feight, Allen Bender, and Samantha Morgan; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

At Catherines there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA.
