Jason Wayne “DUKE” Kephart

Jason Wayne Kephart “DUKE” of Philipsburg passed away at home, Friday May 23, 2025 at the age of 50.

Born and raised in Clearfield, Pa. He was the son of Kevin A. Kephart of Philipsburg and Linda (Kennedy) Kephart-Guthrie of Osceola Mills.

Jason was employed by Grahams Exxon in State College, Pa for many years until an illness permanently took his ability to work. Jason was a believer in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Alfred and Margaret Kephart, his aunts Kiersten Maines and Linda S. Kephart, an Uncle Ned Swanson, a sister Natalie A. Kephart, and several cousins.

He is survived by his parents, a daughter Hailie M. Kephart and her husband Devon Miller of Danville, a son John Paul Young of Pleasant Gap, a sister Chelsea Kephart of State College, a brother Nicholas Kephart of Clearfield, along with several step siblings, his aunt Robyn Swanson of Woodland, his uncle Dan Kephart of Philipsburg and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
