Colleen K. Hughes

Colleen K. Hughes, aged 69, formerly of Clearfield,  died  peacefully  on Monday, September 30, 2024, after a brief illness.

She resided near Pittsburgh at the time of her passing.

She was the eldest child of the late Benedict and Margaret (Louise) Hughes of Clearfield.

Colleen was the beloved sister of Mary Hughes Luther (David), Pittsburgh.

Theresa Hughes Weaver (Elwin) Gibsonia; Richard Hughes (Cathie) Clearfield; Michael Hughes (Aileen) Virginia;  and  Ben Hughes, Punxsutawney.

She studied art at Seton Hill University, Greensburg.

Blessed as a child with  the ability to use oil paint, she  captured many landscapes and still life on canvas. She possessed remarkable talent for one so young.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Tim Miller officiating.
