Claudia A. Hughes

Claudia A. Hughes, 80, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Windy Hill Village, PLC – Philipsburg, PA.

Born on May 8, 1944, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie M. & Ethel M. (Stewart) Flegal.  She married Robert E. Hughes on September 14, 1962 in Philipsburg, PA; he survives at home.

Claudia was a member of Centre United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA.

She was a homemaker.  And she attended Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nadina Pollard and Sandra Davis.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a Daughter, Bobbi Joy Scovern & her husband David of Lemont, PA; two sons, Leslie S. Hughes of Moodus, CT and Stephn K. Pollard & his wife Kim of Philipsburg, PA; seven grandchildren, McKenzie Walker, Kurtis Walker, Kylie Scovern, Rachel Hughes, Sarah Hughes, Stephen Pollard & Jessica Pollard; and two great-grandchildren, Charlee Walker & Gray Walker.

A private memorial service will be at a later date.  Burial will be at Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
