Angeline L. Holden
Angeline L. Holden, 92, of Osceola Mills, PA passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Martin & Mary (Kantoski) Grundusky, born on October 31, 1920 in Osceola Mills, PA. She married the late Russell S. Holden on July 30, 1938 in Osceola Mills, PA. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1992.
Mrs. Holden was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, where she was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Rosary Society and former Religious Education instructor.
She was a homemaker, and formerly employed at the Viceroy Clothing factory in Osceola Mills and Ziff’s Clothing Store in Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by: an infant son, Jimmy; a son, Edward Holden; five sisters, Edna Murray, Ann Kawa, Florence “Flo” Stuss, Kathryn Yosua, and Helen Jeneski; and five brothers, Leo, Joseph, Frank, Edward, and Bernard Grundusky. She was the last of her generation.
She is survived by: two daughters, Doris Holden of Geneva, NY and Nancy Baughman & her husband William of Osceola Mills, PA; four sons, Russell J. Holden & his wife Carol of RD Philipsburg, PA, Kenneth J. Holden & his wife Pat of RD Philipsburg, PA, Gerald M. Holden & his wife Marcia of Osceola Mills, PA, and Thomas E. Holden & his wife, Lisa of Philipsburg, PA; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Patsy Holden of Osceola Mills, PA and numerous nieces & nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, with Father Robert J. Horgas, Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA.
The Rosary will be recited on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
