So sorry to hear of Mope’s passing I will certainly miss his stories. May he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gret and Carol. I have known Bill since I was a kid delivering his newspaper..He was always smiling.

Mope was one of the best. Heaven will be laughing with his stories.

Osceola Mills has lost one of our finest. We were fortunate to have known Mope and we thank him for his service to our country, especially during World War II. We thank him also for our freedom.

I remember, years ago, Mr. Hess stopping to talk to me whenever I walked with my children through Spruce Ally. He had gardening tips and stories that he shared with me. He was welcoming. The last time I had the pleasure of saying hello to him, the comment made was that he would outlive the Queen (of England). He certainly did. It was a pleasure to have met him.
