James Andrew Guthrie
James Andrew Guthrie, 71, of Osceola Mills, PA died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his home.
Born on October 6, 1944 he was the son of the late James A. & Mildred (Fowler) Guthrie. He married Linda R. (Kennedy) Guthrie who survives at home.
Mr. Guthrie was of the Christian Faith. He was a Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Post
#437 in Philipsburg, PA. He retired from the former Circuit City as an appliance technician and was a graduate of the West Branch Area High School class of 1962 in Morrisdale, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Russell Guthrie.
Along with his wife he is survived by: three daughters, Heather Marie Walstrom & her husband Harold of Woodland, PA, Holly Michelle Gaddy & her husband Roy of Bedford, PA, Traci Cowfer & her husband Timothy of Houtzdale, PA and Chelsea Marie Kephart of State College, PA; four sons, James Andrew Guthrie & his companion Alexandra Eliades of Chicago, IL, Jamie Kephart & his wife Wendy of Sykesville, PA, Nicholas Kephart & his companion Lydie Waugh of Clearfield, PA and Clinton Guthrie of Brisbin, PA. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills, PA.
There will be no visitation.
