My Father helped me become a good ball player and a good hunter, but you taught me life’s most important lessons Mom, to be a good person.❤️

I had the pleasure of meeting Aunt Marlene 10 years ago. She was an amazing woman ,loving ,caring and yes loved to tell. her stories. We kept in touch till her illness , and I loved talking to her and messaging each other. She always talked about her grandkids and her brother Paul and Sally. May she Rest In Peace , I will miss her messages. Love nYou Aunt Marlene.

I am so sorry to hear of my cousin Marlene’s passing. She was always thoughtful and caring whenever I visited Sandy Ridge growing up. She was a ball of energy, always looking to have fun. My Dad, Forrest Gill, and her were always talking and planning on the next reunion with the families. She will be surely missed.

Sincerely,

Rose Gill Phelan

I was sad to hear about Aunt Marlene’s cancer and now her death. Cancer sucks!! My deepest sympathy to her siblings, children, grandchildren, and friends.

I have many fond memories growing up next door to her and my cousins. She was a resilient woman who loved her family and was always ready to share a smile, laugh, or story. ♥️
