Mrs. Jan L. Sankey
To my wonderful and special husband, Jack. You were the pillar of love and strength to me and our little furry friends. Your family and friends gained the special love and friendships that they received by you. You brought much knowledge to your students and much skill to whoever wanted and needed it. Our home was very warm and cozy when you arrived. You were met first with a lot of jumping dog paws and wagging tails but I finally got my turn for your kisses. You had so many interests and talents and you gave your all to them. I was privileged to have your last touch and breath here on earth. You left all the pain behind to go on to heaven to God and to glow for eternity. To you, all my love, Jan

Sadly, as I was looking at my PO class of 60 yearbook and noting the death of another classmate of ours, I came across Jack’s obituary and needless to say I was shocked since we had been in junior high school and senior high school together often enjoying many laughs. My condolences to his family and friends.

Our condolences and prayers to the family.
Mr. Sankey was an awesome teacher at Moshannon Valley High School and his input into his classes were always a positive to life. He was great at keeping the class involved and talked to the kids like real human beings. No matter when you bumped into him later in life he always recalled who you were.

My thoughts and prayers to Jack’s family. I got to know Jack through the time he worked along with my husband, Jim , at Lion Country Supply. I always enjoyed talking to him, and particularly about our four legged ones. Sadly the last I spoke with him was a Jim’s funeral. I know my husband thought highly of Jack and enjoyed the time he worked with him. As you faced the days ahead, which sadly I know how hard that will be, may you try to find peace in memories of better times, shared laughter, remembering the times you had with each other.

I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jack. Jack and I were employed at the Moshannon Valley School District until I retired in 1991.
I would have been at the funeral home to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jack. My wife and I are going to the Hershey area on Saturday to be with our two daughters and families. Our one daughter is celebrating her birthday this weekend. Sally and I will be celebrating our 60th Wedding Anniversary that week.
God Bless,
Don and Sally Evans
