Luther W. Dixon
Luther W. Dixon, 75, of Philipsburg, PA died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Penn Highlands in Clearfield, PA.
Born on January 18, 1940 in Walleceton, PA, he was the son of the late Luther A. and Hettie A. (Maines) Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was of the Christian faith. He had worked at the General Cigar formerly of Philpsburg, PA and was a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: four sisters, Gloria Dixon, Beverly Eirich, Joann Dixon and Martha Dixon; and two brothers, Richard Dixon and Joseph A. Dixon.
He is survived by: six sisters, Erma Conklin of West Decatur, PA, Violet Oswalt of West Decatur, PA, Barbara Quade & her companion Ken Phillips of Brisbin, PA, Dorothy Martin of Houtzdale, PA, Ethel Maines & her husband Archie of Osceola Mills, PA and Connie Beatty and her husband Harry of Philipsburg, PA.
The Funeral will at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Anna Fyock officiating. Burial will be at the Reidy Cemetery in Wallaceton, PA.
Visitation be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
