Mary A. Danko
Mary A. Danko, 90, of Mechanicsburg, PA and formerly of Philipsburg & Houtzdale, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at The Bridges at Bent Creek in Mechanicsburg, PA.
She was the daughter of the late Martin & Susan (Trach) Lazar, born on August 23, 1922 in Hawk Run, PA. She married Joseph E. Danko on August 24, 1946 in Hawk Run, PA. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2005.
Mrs. Danko was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA. She retired from Charles Navasky & Co. as a seamstress.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Michael Danko; a sister, Jennie Osewalt; and two brothers, Andrew and John Lazar.
Mrs. Danko is survived by a son Timothy J. Danko & his wife Sally of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
There will be no visitation.
