Leonard Roy Croyle, Jr.

Leonard Roy Croyle, Jr, 59, of York, PA, died on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born on May 28, 1964, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Leonard R. Croyle, Sr. & Gladys A. (Dombrowski) Croyle.  He married Anna Brina Samessone on June 22, 2021, in York, PA; she survives in Camp Hill, PA.

He was employed as a Forklift Operator and was a 1982 graduate of Woonsocket High School in Woonsocket, RI.

Leonard enjoyed dancing, cooking and had started to do stand-up comedy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Goulet.

Along with his wife, Leonard is survived by two daughters, Cadence I. Croyle of Philipsburg, PA and Mya LaPlante of Woonsocket, RI; four sisters, Carol Goulet & her husband, Jacques of Derry, NH, Lorrie Brown of Altoona, PA, Cindy Croyle of Woonsocket, RI, and Amy Lussier & her husband Robert of Chepachet, RI; and a brother Ronald L. Croyle of Hundson, FL.

A memorial service will follow at a later date.  Burial will be at Beaver Mills Cemetery in Black Moshannon.
