Dear Kay, Al & family,
My love, prayers & thoughts go out to all of you in your time of sorrow. I was so sad to read about Jim passing away. I still remember when he & Lloyd were younger & I would come down to your house & get them ready for school. Remember all your happy memories of your son & brother & just know he is in good hands with our Lord.
You have a very special angel up in heaven watching over all of you.
God Bless You All,
Patti LeGrand

“Slimmy” will be greatly missed by many. He was loved by all that knew him because of his great personality. I remember all the good times we all had at Lezzer Lumber between ’84-2000. Hope he and Jim D. can go fishing together in heaven.
My condolences to all the Ashcroft family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to you for the loss of your loved one Jim. I worked with him at Lezzer Lumber for 11 years. He was quiet but could be very funny! I still remember the snake he found in the lumber yard and decided to play a trick on me. Put the snake right outside the bathroom door after I had gone in…not funny at the time…but it is now! It was a joke…ha ha! May he rest in peace! I hope you find comfort in stories that are shared. Remember the good!

My condolences….I lived across the street from you on Hale Street….

Jim was a good man. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for 20 years. I met him while calling on Lezzer Lumber. Jim and I had a couple of real good fishing trips and I always enjoyed talking about hunting and fishing with him. Jim was a good, honest, hard working man, and he will be missed.
