Rheda L. (Reese) Wolfe
Rheda L. (Reese) Wolfe, 85, of Red Hill, PA and formerly of Sandy Ridge, PA died on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Saint Lukes Hospital in Quakertown, PA.
Born on February 4, 1934 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Jay and Fannie (Reichard) Reese. She married Stanley E. Wolfe, Jr. on January 26, 1966 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2010.
She was of the Christian Faith.
She was a waitress for 47 years in Philadelphia and Philipsburg, PA. She retired in 2002 and after moving to Red Hill, PA, then started working at Turkey Hill on the early morning shift as the “Coffee Lady” and then retiring in 2012. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Joyce Hoover and Arlene “Lena” Nulph; and three brothers, Everett “Ebb” Reese, George “Cooter” Reese and Herbert L. “Link” Reese.
She is survived by: one daughter, Linda L. (Frantz) McColgan & her husband Robert of Pennsburg, PA; two grandchildren, Christine M. McColgan of Spring City, PA and Timothy R. McColgan & his wife Lori M. of Blairstown, NJ; and two great-grandchilren, Alexis M. McColgan and Felicity B. McColgan.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Beth Stutler officiating.
Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
