M. Dean Winters
M. Dean Winters, 80, of Philipsburg, PA died on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Manor Care in Lebanon, PA.
Born on July 17, 1936 in New Castle, R. D. Osceola Mills, PA, he was the son of the late Ward H. & Elverta B. (Yarger) Winters. He married Mona A. (McGarry) Winters on July 18, 1959 at the First Church of Christ in Phlipsburg, PA; she preceded him in death on December 25, 2009.
Mr. Winters was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA.
He was a retired truck driver for Roger Kephart Trucking Houtzdale, PA, served in the U.S. Army, graduated from the former Philipsburg High School and was a member of the Osceola Lodge #515, F. & A. M.
He is survived by: one daughter, Cindy Eby & her husband Doug of Lebanon, PA; one son, Christopher D. Winters & his wife Courtney of Manheim, PA; two brothers, Kenneth W. Winters & his wife Kay of Hughesville, PA and Harlan L. Winters & his wife Judy of New Castle, R. D. Osceola Mills, PA; and four grandchildren, Hunter Winters, Drew Eby, Tyler Eby, and Ryleigh Winters.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor Ryan Parish officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Masonic Memorial Services will be held on Friday, at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
