Emery E. Wilcox
Emery E. Wilcox, 93, of Dubois, PA died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Nelson’s Golden Years in Dubois, PA.
Born on October 9, 1922 in Smithfield, PA, he was the son of the late Claude E. & Myrtle Hazel (Kendall) Wilcox. He married Barbara Jean (Hoag) Wilcox on January 10, 1948 in Unadilla, NY, she survives at home.
Mr. Wilcox was of the United Methodist Faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a 
retired salesman from Kohlhepp True Value in DuBois, PA, a graduate of the Twanda High School, Twanda, PA class of 1942 and he graduated from the Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, PA with a BS degree in business.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: two daughters, Susan Wolfgang and Sharon Johnston; one sister, Alice Roof; three brothers, Lauren, Claude & Harold Wilcox and one granddaughter, Amanda Sue Wilcox.
He is survived by: one daughter, Sally Matia & her husband Thomas of Osceola Mills, PA; two sons, Dana Wilcox & his companion Gay Snyder of Pennfield, PA and Dale Wilcox of Home Camp, PA; one sister, Mary Foster of Willowgrove, PA and one brother, Donald Wilcox & his wife Connie of Pharr, TX. He is also survived by: five granddaughters, Michelle Naylor, Jennifer Radaker, Heather Long, Barbara Wilcox & Jessica Wilcox; two grandsons, Lee Barefield and Zachery Simler; and nine great-grandchildren, Cody & Corey Long, Jordan & Rhett Eisman, Alex & Layne Barefield, Nathan Naylor, Kamdon & Macin Assalone; numerous step-grandchildren & step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
At Mr. Wilcox request there will be no viewing or funeral service. Burial will be at the Bradford County Memorial Park in Towanda, PA.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA is charge of the arrangements.
