Jessie R. Weld
Jessie R. Weld, 68, of Philipsburg, PA passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Abraham Smith, Sr. & Alice (Mansel) Smith, born on March 21, 1944 in Philipsburg, PA. She married Robert L. Weld on June 10, 1959 in Osceola Mills, PA. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2009.
Mrs. Weld was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Philipsburg, PA. She was a retired Nurses Aide and had worked for the former Piper Aircraft.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Barry Lynn Weld; a sister, Lois Mae Smith; and three brothers, Clayton, William & Charles Smith.
Mrs. Weld is survived by: three daughters, Cynthia Bailey & her husband Mike of West Decatur, PA, Tammy Parks & her husband Edward of Philipsburg, PA, and Jody Johnson & her husband Nick of TN: two sons, Robert C. Weld & his wife Tammy of Huntsville, AL and Randy Weld & his companion Tammy Lewis of Elyria, OH; two sisters, Margaret Kingan & her husband Bob of Pasadena, TX and Debra Guest & her husband William of San Angelo, TX; three brothers, Edward Smith & his wife Molly of Pasadena, TX, Robert Smith of Pasadena, TX, and Abraham Smith, Jr. of Altoona, PA; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Weld, Michelle Gregory, Ashley Weld, Randy Weld, Jr., Harold Burnett, III, Leslie Bailor, Jr., Samantha Weld, Jordan Johnson and Noah Johnson; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA with Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
