Ardell J. Walk
Ardell J. Walk, 81 of West Decatur, PA died on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his home.
Born on April 9, 1941, RD Port Matilda, PA, he was the son of the late Frank & Catherine (Dixon) Walk. He married Shirley J. Goss on October 6, 1961, at the Ohio Methodist Church in RD Osceola Mills, PA; she survives at home.
Ardell was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in West Decatur, PA.
He was retired from the Philipsburg-Osceola School District as a Custodian, and he worked for the former Clearfield Cheese for 37 years. He earned his GED.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Perline, Bernadine, Margaret and Freda; and five brothers, Calvin, Alfred, Willis, Raymond and Frank.
In addition to his wife, Ardell is survived by a son, David Ardell Walk & his wife Angela of Ramey, PA; two sisters, Marie Zerrlott of Baltimore, MD and Carol Knepp of Osceola Mills, PA; three grandchildren, Christopher & his fiancée Megan, Amanda and Leanna; and five great-grandchildren, Elcee, Kendra, Taylor, Jaysen and Eastyn.
The Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Robert Ludrowsky will officiate. Burial will be at the Bradford Cemetery in Woodland, PA.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
