Theophelia Marie “Theo” Waksmunski
Theophelia Marie “Theo” Waksmunski, 68, of Osceola Mills, PA died at her home on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Born on October 6, 1954, in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. & Frances “Fran” (Thompkins) Waksmunski.
She was a member of the Catholic Faith. She was also a member of VFW Post 5020 Ladies Auxiliary in Osceola Mills, PA, Moshannon Valley EMS, Life Member of Mt. Top Fire Company, and an EMT Instructor.
Theo was a Registered Nurse for 47 years where she was employed by the former Philipsburg Area Hospital, Clearfield Hospital, ending her career at Mt. Nittany Medical Center; and also worked in the first aid center at the Beaver Stadium EMS. In addition, she was the owner-operator of Waksmunski Green House. She was a 1972 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. Theo graduated from Indiana School of Nursing in 1975 and earned her BS in Nursing from Clarion University.
She is survived by two sisters, Constance Waksmunski of Osceola Mills, PA and Sandra Waksmunski Nearing & her husband Jeff of Ridgeway, PA.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 23, 2022 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Janet Kephart and Fred Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
