Marion L. “Porky” Torreance
Marion L. “Porky” Torreance, 73, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at UPMC in Altoona, PA.
Born on September 27, 1942 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley H. & Charlotte (Miller) Winters. She was married to John Torreance, who survives at home.
Mrs. Torreance was a member of the Clearfield Bible Missionary Church in Clearfield, PA. She was the owner of the former “Porky Dog Grooming” and graduated from Philipsburg – Osceola High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Malissa Donovan.
Along with her husband, she was survived by: a sister, Debra K. Lance & her husband Charles of Osceola Mills, PA; a brother, Calvin H. Winters & his wife Bernae of Madera, PA; three nieces Shannon Walborn, Cricket Bumbarger and Alaina Winters; a great-niece; and four great-nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home and Cremattion Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor David P. Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
