Frederick Tomco, 84, of Philipsburg, PA died on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA.
Born on November 27, 1936 in Rush Township, PA he was the son of the late George and Jennie (Stewart) Tomco.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the V.F.W. Post 5020 in Osceola Mills, PA, a member of the LOOMoose 154 in Osceola Mills, PA and the American Legion 0437 in Philipsburg, PA.
Frederick was a retired boiler maker for Claver Brooks in Lebanon, PA and graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Dixon.
He is survived by: two sons, Frederick James Tomco & his wife Nadine of Lebanon, PA and Christopher Allen Tomco & his wife Renee of Lebanon, PA; one sister, Nancy Weatherholtz of Allport, PA; one brother, George Tomco & his wife Bonnie of Newmanstown, PA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
