Louise Tocimak
Louise Tocimak, 86, of Colonial Courtyard, Clearfield, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield, PA.
Born on August 25, 1931 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Petuck, Sr. and Gertrude P. (Cartwright) Petuck. She married Andrew Tocimak on July 21, 1956 in Osceola Mills, PA: he survives in Clearfield, PA.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Osceola Mills, PA.
Louise had worked as a dental assistant at the Harkins Dental Office in Osceola Mills, PA and as a real estate agent for New Horizon Real Estate. She was a 1949 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School and graduated in 1954 from the Lawton School for Medical Assistants in Hollywood, CA.
She was a member and past president of the Presbyterian Women’s Association, an ordained deacon and elder of the church, a member of the Auxiliary of the Presbyterian Home, a member of the Osceola Mills Friends of the Library, a member of the Osceola Mills Women’s Civic Club and the Osceola Mills Historical Foundation serving as president from 2004 to 2006.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: an infant son, Aaron Tocimak; and a brother, John Petuck, Jr.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: one daughter, Marjorie O’Neill & her husband Charles of Beaver, PA; one son, Andrew “Drew” Tocimak & his wife Maureen of Philipsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Andrew O’Neill & his wife Danielle, Caroline O’Neill, Samuel O’Neill & his wife Sydney, Kaitlin Tocimak, and Callie Tocimak; three great-grandchildren, Coraline, Hugh and Martin O’Neill; and a sister-in-law Jane Petuck of Bellefonte, PA.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Robert Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time at the church.
