Joan R. Timchak
Joan R. Timchak, 78, of Philipsburg, PA, died Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home.
Born on March, 14, 1938 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. Penepacker & Laura (Hayes) Boyle. She married Robert L. Timchak on April 8, 1961 at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church; he survives at home.
Mrs. Timchak was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Philipsburg, PA.
She was a retired Registered Nurse at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC. She was a 1956 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School and graduated from the Woman’s Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA class of 1959.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Besse Jones.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: numerous nieces and nephews; and one cousin, Joel Jacobson.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Philipsburg, PA, on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper officiating. Place of burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
