Lee W. Thompson
Lee W. Thompson, 86, of Osceola Mills, PA died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his home.
Born on August 23, 1929 in West Decatur, PA, he was the son of the late Lee and Bessie (Wood) Thompson. He married Rhea J. (Grove) Thompson on March 29, 1947 in Osceola Mills, PA; she survives at home.
Mr. Thompson was of the Christian Faith and served in the U.S. Army. 
He was retired from the former Piper Aircraft in Quehanna, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Mary Louise Thompson; two sons, Robert Charles Thompson and Walter Lee Thompson; a granddaughter, Michelle Lee Thompson and a son-in-law, Roy Quick.
He is survived by: two daughters, Alice Quick of Morrisdale, PA and Patricia Jury of Lamar, PA; four sons. William E. Thompson & his wife Cindy of Munson, PA, David L. Thompson & his wife Debra of Osceola Mills, PA, Kenneth R. Thompson of Morrisdale, PA and Todd A. Thompson & his wife Brittany of Grampian, PA; and a brother, Raymond Thompson & his wife Anna Mae of Morrisdale, PA. He is also survived by: sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Friends will be received on Thursday August, 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral time at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
