Kenneth R. Thompson
Kenneth R. Thompson, 68, of Hawk Run, PA died on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home.
Born on October, 1, 1952 in Osceola Mills, PA he was the son of the late Lee W. and Rhea J. (Grove) Thompson.
He was of the Christian Faith.
Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American 
Legion in Philipsburg, PA, a member of the Amvets of Philipsburg, PA and the VFW of Philipsburg, PA. He was a retired laborer for the Philipsburg Borough and a coal miner. He was a 1972 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Michele Lee Thompson; one sister, Mary Louise Thompson; and two brothers, Robert Charles Thompson and Walter Lee Thompson.
He is survived by: three daughters, Sharon R. Blasko & her husband Thomas of Hawk Run, PA, Jill M. Reese of Osceola Mills, PA and Samantha K. Brantner & her husband Zachary of Philipsburg, PA; two sisters, Alice Quick of Morrisdale, PA and Patricia Jury of Osceola Mills, PA; three brothers, William E. Thompson & his wife Cindy of Munson, PA, David L. Thompson & his wife Debra of Osceola Mills, PA and Todd A. Thompson & his wife Brittany of Grampian, PA; and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Gloria Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
