SO SADDENED TO HEAR OF RONNIE PASSING. GREAT PERSONALITY WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR. I WAS VISITING PHIILIPSBURG A FEW YEARS BACK FROM N.C. RONNIE KNOWING I TRAVELED THIS 500 MILE ON OCCASION TELLS ME HES GOING ON A LONG TRIP SOUTH. I SAID WHERE YOU HEADING. ANSWER. CHAMBERSBURG. WE PLAYED BALL FOR OUR CHURCH TEAM AND RON WAS THE BIG GUY WHO PITCHED FOR OUR TEAM. I HAD TO ALWAYS THROW AROUND RON TO FIRST TO HIS BRO DUANE, WHO SURMISED WHY MY THROWS WHERE HIGH. WILL ALWAYS CHERISH THE MEMORIES.
