Karen A. Smith
Karen A. Smith, 56, of Morrisdale, PA died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home.
Born on May 28, 1965 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of Harvey Shoffner of Clearfield, PA and the late Sharron (Lannen) Shoffner. She married Andrew A. Smith on March 1, 2018 in Clearfield, PA, he survives at home.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Karen was a care giver in the health industry for over thirty years and was a 1983 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School. She enjoyed ATV and UTV riding and spending time with her grandchildren and driving her husband crazy.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by: one sister, Patricia Shearer and one grandson, David Whittington.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: two daughters, Crystal Cashman & her companion William Kramer, Jr. of West Decatur, PA and Heather Whittington and her husband Robert of Clearfield, PA; one son, Lynn Kovach of Curwensville, PA; one sister, Pamela Rinehart of Chillocothe, OH; two brothers, Harvey Shoffner of Philipsburg, PA and Gary Shoffner of Grampian, PA; four grandchildren, Russell Beish, SaraMae Beish, Anthony Whittington and Davinity Whittington; two sisters-in-law, Carole Ahlstrom and Alison Frantz; several nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later time at the convenience of the family.
