James A. Simler
James A. Simler, 64, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the home of his caregiver Sally Matia & Willie.
Born on October 7, 1958, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest A. & Mary Ann (Kisinkie) Simler.
James was of the Catholic Faith and was a Navy Veteran.
He was Retired from Cove Forge Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, PA. He was a 1976 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jennifer Simler.
He is survived by a son, Zachery I. Simler & his wife Haylee of West Decatur, PA; a sister, Cynthia A. Jarrett & her husband Les of Houtzdale, PA; and a brother Thomas K. Simler & his wife Sandy of Morrisdale, PA.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Julia Piper will officiate.
Visitation will he on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the funeral home.
