We only met him a couple of times, but was very kind to welcome us to his home, and made us feel very welcome. So was Nick,s mother. She even exchange recipes with me after our visit. We injoyed spending time with your family. You could tell he was so proud of his family. And had a ton of love for you all. Our blessing go to you and Nick. Give Nick a hug from me. Grace and I regret that we could not attend visiting hours and extend out sympathy to the wonderful Sidorick family. Mr. Sidorick will always be remembered for his quiet strength and devotion to his family, Church and Osceola Mills Honor Guard commitments. My memories are also influenced by my wrestling relationships. He was a quiet wrestling parent with unwavering support for his sons, and grandsons who wrestled. I’ll never forget watching him make shaky but determined climbs up the gymnasium bleachers to watch his grandsons. He had an unwavering Sidorick spirit.
I will always cherish the wrestling experiences and remarkable memories, especially to be included in the Sidorick family group hug following Mark’s exciting win in the PIAA finals. I certainly was not a perfect coach, but even in my failures, I always believed Mr. Sidorick supported my coaching role with his sons. I shall always be grateful for his trust.
I will also remember Mr. Sidorick as a proud and meticulous property owner. I always enjoyed running past his home while he was grooming his lawn and bushes with tender loving care. I knew that he came from a struggling immigrant background and acquired one of the most beautiful properties in Osceola Mills. He appreciated what he had and took care of it!
Mr. Sidorick’s greatest success was his family. Every member acquired an advanced education and successful career. Each is morally upstanding and is a credit to the family leadership and values that Mr. Sidorick passed down. He left his mark on the Osceola Mills community and the Sidorick family legacy for generations to come. He also made an impact on me which became the major reason why I love the Sidoricks!
