Lewis G. “Jinx” Shinafelt
Lewis G. “Jinx” Shinafelt, 58 of Osceola Mills passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
Born on March 12, 1954 to the late William A. and Phyllis M (Bookamire) Shinafelt in Philipsburg, PA.
Mr. Shinafelt was of the Protestant Faith. He also serviced in the Army National Guard and was a
member of the Slovak Club in Osceola Mills, PA and St. Anthony’s Society in Osceola Mills, PA.
He graduated from the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills High School class of 1972. He was a former Mail Carrier and worked for the PA Railroad.
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Linda K. Shinafelt and a brother Robert W. Shinafelt.
Mr. Shinafelt is survived by a sister Cathy Timko of Lock Haven, PA and a nephew Kevin Timko.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. on Monday by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Brisbin PA.
Visitation will bee Monday, June 4, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral Home.
