Hannah E. Shimmel
Hannah E. Shimmel, 66, of Houtzdale, PA died on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home.
Born on December 30, 1951 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Geraldine (Osewalt) Smith Ulbrick. She married Jeffrey L. Shimmel on January 14, 1984 in Philipsburg, PA; he survives at home.
Hannah was of the Episcapal Faith.
She was a retired private care aid and had obtained her GED.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by: one sister, Tammy Smith and one infant brother.
She is survived by: two daughters, Sherry Ann Grove & her husband Steven of Osceola Mills, PA and Lindy Wood & her husband William of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, John R. Lloyd, III & his wife Sherry of Houtzdale, PA and Richard D. Lloyd & his fiancee Valerie Greenwalt of Fernwood, PA; three sisters, Nancy Smith of Morann, PA, Cindy Nolan & her husband Brian of Morann, PA and Marie Smith of Morann, PA; and four brothers, John Smith & his wife Virginia of Houtzdale, PA, Robert Smith & his wife Marilyn of Morann, PA, Alan Smith of Morann, PA and Donald Smith & his wife of Laura of Fallen Timber, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Father William Walker officiating, Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
