Larry E. Sedgwick
Larry E. Sedgwick, 80, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Monday, October 26, 2026 at his home.
Born on October 12, 1946 in Clarion, PA, Larry was the son of the late Ernest Sedgwick & Anita (Stevens) Sedgwick. He married Edna J. (Reams) Sedgwick on March 9, 1968 in Osceola Mills, PA. Edna survives at home.
Larry was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era. He was a member of the VFW Post 5020 in Osceola Mills, the Amvets Post 159 in Philipsburg, the VFW Post 3450 in Philipsburg, and the American Legion Post 437 in Philipsburg.
He retired from working in building maintenance.
Larry was a 1964 graduate from the Mo Valley High School.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two children, Jerry Sedgwick and Stacey Sedgwick; a sister, Priscilla Houlk; and three brothers, Jack Wesley Sedgwick, Kenneth Paul Sedgwick, and Richard Ray Sedgwick.
In addition to his wife, Edna, Larry is survived by a daughter, Melissa Paranich & her husband Jason of Ginter, PA; two sons, Richard L. Sedgwick & his wife Mary Jo of Osceola Mills, PA, and Bradley E. Sedgwick & his companion Mary of DuBois, PA; two sisters, Ruth Brulinski of Ohio, and Shirley Gregorchick & her husband Ronald of Johnstown, PA; four brothers, Robert Sedgwick & his wife Becky of Brockway, PA, James Sedgwick of Maryland, Daniel Sedgwick & his wife, Sue of Houtzdale, PA, and Randy Sedgwick & his wife Tammy of Texas; five grandchildren, Dalton, Chase, Seth, Patience, and Jaden; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA 16666. Rev. James Evilsizor will officiate.
Interment will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
