Larry M. “Butch” Schultz
Larry M. “Butch” Schultz, 74, of Hyde PA died on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Goshen Township, Clearfield, PA.
Born on February 24, 1944 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen (O’Dell) Shultz. He married Susan J. “Susie” (Ogden) Schultz on January 24, 1969 on Clearfield, PA, she survives at home.
Larry was a member of the Faith Bible Church (The Bridge) in Clearfield, PA.
He was the former owner and operator of Schultz and Brown Heating in Clearfield, PA. Larry was involved in local racing for over 50 years, he could be found most nights in his garage working on cars. He was also a volunteer for the Living Bread Ministries food distribution.
Along with his wife, he is survived by:three daughters, Michele “Shelly” McGovern & her companion Fred of Curwensville, PA, Vicki Gohn & her companion Bob of Elizabethtown, PA and Christine Lewis & her husband Kerry of Curwensville, PA; three sons, Pastor Scott Schultz & his wife Jodi of Clearfield, PA, Jeff Schultz & his wife Charlene of Hyde, PA and Michael Schultz & his wife Christie of Brockway, PA; one sister, Larmelva Lemonovich & her husband Tony of Ebensburg, PA. He is also survived by: nine grandchildren, Cody, Amber, Taylor, Kausha, Kelcey, Kylie, Jocelyn, Carissa and Trevor; and two great-grandchildren, Easton and Elias.
Private Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018: with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
