Norma G. Sankey
Norma G. Sankey, 90, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Windy Hill Village, PSL in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on July 25, 1927 in Butler County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy & Lucille (Boozer) Hovis. She married Robert M. Sankey on July 26, 1947 in Osceola Mills, PA: he preceded her in death on May 20, 2011.
She was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church, the V.F.W. #5020 Ladies Auxillary in Osceola Mills PA, the Osceola Mills Civic Club and she was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Keller and a brother, Wayne Hovis.
She is survived by: two daughters, Linda Latosky & her husband Thomas of Houtzdale, PA and Kristen Meersand & her life partner Allen Cook of Osceola Mills, PA; two sons, Jack Sankey & his wife Jan of Bald Eagle, PA and Robert “Bo” Sankey & his wife Patricia of Philipsburg, PA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchlidren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Beth Stutler officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
