Esther Kay Sankey
Esther Kay Sankey, 72, of Philipsburg, PA died on Monday, September 1, 2014 at her home.
Born on June 11, 1942 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sherald & Helen (Moore) Sankey.
Ms. Sankey was of the United Methodist Faith. She worked for ALM Tool & Die in Philipsburg, PA and had worked for C-Core Electronics in State College, PA. She was a 1960 graduate of the Johnsonburg High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Ruth Bainey; and a brother, James Sankey.
Ms. Sankey is survived by: three sisters, Betty Kent of Pittsburgh, PA, Charlotte Pedersen of Pittsburgh, PA and Shirley Mineweaser & her husband Robert of Fairless Hills, PA; and two brothers, Richard Sankey & his wife Claire of Florida and David Sankey of Portland, ME. She is also survived by four friends, Carole Schnarrs, Kevin Schnarrs & his wife Lisa and their daughter Hunter Schnarrs.
At Kay’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
