Gail L. Royer
Gail L Royer, 83, of West Decatur, PA died on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Windy Hill Village, PSL in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on September 11, 1938 in Philipsburg, PA, daughter of the late Orland & Mabel Irene (Mayhue) Kephart. She married DeWayne Royer on September 28, 1957 at the Ohio United Methodist Church in (Morgan Run) Osceola Mills, PA; he survives at home.
Gail was a member of the Mackeyville United Methodist Church and the Ohio United Methodist Church. She was a retired Pharmacy Clerk at the Lock Haven Hospital and a retired Secretary for Kyles Dairy & Valley Farms in Mackeyville, PA. And she was a 1956 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Donna Mae Harry and an infant sister, Shirley Kephart; and two brothers, Charles Kephart & his wife Eleanor and Dewayne Kephart & his wife Diane.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Pamela Jean Hendershot & her husband Orie of West Decatur, PA; and a son, Douglas D. Royer of West Decatur, PA; four grandchildren, Jason Hendershot & his wife Emily, Alyssa Emigh & her husband Tim, Ashley Royer and Shane Royer; and six great-grandchildren, Mallory, Dylan, Morgan, Brooks, Lucas and Caleb.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Harold Harry officiating.
Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Mill Hall, PA, with committal services at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Friends of the family are invited to gather at the committal service.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
