Patricia M. Ridgway
Patricia M. Ridgway, 65, of Philipsburg, PA died on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
Born on July 12, 1955 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Carl Gilbert and Barbara M. (Kostyu) Almgren. She married Frederick J. Ridgway, Jr. on October 30, 1974 at the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA, he preceded her in death on August 19, 2018.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA.
Patricia had worked for the BPOE Elks in Philipsburg, PA, General Cigar and the County Market in Philipsburg, PA. She was a 1973 graduate of the West Branch High School. She enjoyed 50s, 60s, and 70s music. She liked to read, walk, loved all animals especially goats, and enjoyed motorcycle trips with her late husband.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Almgren.
She is survived by: two sisters, Bernadette Dobash & her husband Andrew of Morrisdale, PA and Carol Almgren of DuBois, PA; brother and sister-in-laws William and Carol Ridgway of Philipsburg, PA and Sharon Gates; and two nieces, Allison Ridgway and Kristen Kaminski & her husband Adam.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA : with Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
