Emma Lou Rider
Emma Lou Rider, 64, of Sandy Ridge, PA died on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on August 1, 1956 in Bellefonte, PA she was the daughter of the late Dair and Hazel (Smeal) Rider.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Emma was a Slitter Operator for Fort Deerborn in Tyrone, PA, a Home Health Aid for Bright Star in State College, PA and she was a member of the American Legion Auxillary in Philipsburg, PA. She had earned her GED.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Tonya Felker; four sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by: two daughters, Kathie LeGer & her husband Devin of Lexington, NC and Dara Merritt & her husband Scott of Ramey, PA; two sisters, Kathryn Boone of Brookville, PA and Marlee Rider of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
